Our Philosophy
Here at Little Nest Glenfield, our dedicated teachers are committed to providing a place where every child and their whānau feel safe, loved, and have a deep sense of belonging. Our Kaiako believe in building secure, respectful, responsive, and reciprocal relationships with all our tamariki and whānau.
Little Nest’s education approach is child-led and play-based. Our teachers’ role is not to teach – children are capable and wonderful little people – but to help them learn. By tuning into a child’s unique curiosities, we are in a position to create deep learning opportunities for them.
